Who We Need:

Document Compliance Specialist duties include loan review to ensure compliance requirements have been met, borrower document intake, scanning and parsing, as well as mailing and emailing documentation, document analysis, and accurate data input into the loan system of record. 

What You Will Do:  

  • Review loans for compliance with TRID disclosure requirements
  • Review loans and take necessary actions to ensure compliance with ECOA requirements 
  • Upload of loan documents into applicable areas within the Loan Origination System
  • Retrieval, intake, parsing, and scanning of loan documentation as well as emailing and mailing required documentation
  • Effectively manage multiple daily demands and competing priorities
  • Maintain a working knowledge of policies, procedures and regulatory requirements while demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics
  • Ensure you meet daily, weekly and monthly internally specified goals & requirements 
  • Review purchase contracts and system triggered disclosure action and ensure necessary actions are taken satisfy all local, federal and state regulatory requirements 
  • Process documents in an accurate and timely manner to ensure proper compliance with company policy and procedures as well as federal and state requirements
  • Meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Understand how the Document Compliance Specialist role fits into the larger organizational context
  • Other duties as needed or assigned by the Compliance Support Manager

What You Need:      

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with mortgage process and mortgage documents
  • Ability to adapt well to change
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Demonstrate responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to take direction and comprehend training
  • Ability to work closely within a team structure
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs
  • Working knowledge of Octane
  • Other duties as assigned
  • The position is full-time and requires employee to be present at Cardinal's corporate office
  • Extended night and weekend work hours may be required
