Work to build a network-wide community of member leaders through regular calls, digital community, and in-person gatherings;
Support for the affiliate and CPD/A staff who are focused on member leader development through regular calls, digital community, and in-person gatherings;
Close partnership with CPD/A’s Organizing Team and others within CPD/A to develop this program in alignment with CPD/A’s organizing, campaigning, political, and other work.
Job Requirements
Significant experience as an organizer;
Significant experience as a trainer and developer of trainings;
Demonstrated commitment to the engagement of grassroots members in the daily work of organizing and campaigning, in the context of community organizing;
A track record of effectiveness in campaigning, electoral engagement, and base-building;
Deep alignment with CPD/A’s theory of change and a strong commitment to build strong people’s institutions;
A demonstrated commitment to social and racial justice issues and a thorough understanding of challenges facing immigrant communities, communities of color, and low-income people;

Excellent writing and communication skills;
Results-focused, team oriented, organized, and responsive;
Willingness and ability to travel regularly for site visits, trainings, and affiliate engagement, as well as occasional internal staff meetings.
