CHEF'S GARDEN ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK Salary in the United States

Our Accounting Department has a full-time opening for an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK.

Principle responsibilities:

• Assist the sales team with set up of new customer accounts
• Research and resolve customer A/R issues
• Make collection calls on past-due accounts, process customer payments
• Reevaluate credit worthiness of current customers by monitoring account activity
• Provide customer statements, invoices, and credit memos
• Process daily/weekly/monthly deposits (cash, check, credit card, direct deposit) and monitor A/R Aging reports
• Provide superior customer service to our customers and coworkers

The successful applicant must possess the following skills:

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) - advanced skills preferred
• E-Commerce, Online banking
• Familiarity with accounting software packages and ERP systems
• Thorough understanding of GAAP
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable is required
• Associate’s Degree in Accounting is preferred
