CineMassive Displays is currently seeking a CAD Draftsman / Engineering Technician who is looking for a breakout opportunity; the chance to work within a community of people who strive for excellence and continuous improvement. This person will collaborate closely with the Systems Engineer to document AV system design intent and connectivity, and produce a drawing package for installation and client reference.

This is a great opportunity for an early career applicant to gain experience and grow within the company. A successful candidate must be able to transform initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD), into working documents. The CAD Draftsman / Engineering Technician must have a strong interest in technology, IT infrastructure, and be willing to learn the different connections, signal types, and workflows in AV systems and IT networks. In addition, this person should be willing to gain experience and a strong understanding of core technologies, as they will be relied on to apply this knowledge to expand their role as the position grows.

Requirements:

• Must be proficient with AutoCAD and experienced at producing documentation
• Proficient with MS Office
• Effective written and communication skills
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Associates degree or higher education required
• IT/Networking education and/or experience is a plus
• A/V experience is a plus
• CTS Certification is a plus
• Biamp Certification is a plus

• Proficient in reading and understanding technical schematics, single-line drawings, layouts & diagrams.
• Technical capacity, specifically as it pertains to IT networks
• Thoroughness and attention to detail
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Self-starter that can work with little supervision.
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to review and interpret engineer specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret redline markups and translate to working drawings.
• Self‐check own work for completeness, accuracy and compliance to standards.
