Hours: This position is on a 5 day week schedule, 8-hour workday, Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Occasionally may have to be available for On-Call Coverage.

Wastewater treatment operators remove pollutants from domestic and industrial waste. Used water, also known as wastewater, travels through sewer pipes to treatment plants where it is treated and either returned to streams, rivers, and oceans, or used for irrigation.
SUMMARY
The Wastewater Trainee is responsible for performing work to operate and maintain the sewer collection system, wastewater plant and related lift stations.
