Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, permanent classified Access Service- Program Manager. The Access Services Manager oversees library access services including circulation, branch operations at CTC, Course Reserves, Resource Sharing, and maintaining library open hours. The library plays an integral role in supporting the college's mission and the core themes of the strategic plan. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Ability to work cooperatively in a variety of department-level activities, willingness to contribute to college-wide projects, and represent the college and collaborate with library consortia, task forces, and committees – locally, statewide, and regionally.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set and meet deadlines, and work in a team environment.
- Serve as an integral member of the unit leadership team.
- Create a safe, bias-free working environment that engenders respect for differences.
- Collaborate with the dean to plan for and manage library operations, including library facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze work processes and introduce appropriate technological solutions for greater efficiency of operations.
- Demonstrated ability to conceive and implement long-term strategies and achieve short-term goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to foster a collegial work environment that encourages change and innovation.
- Experience performing duties related to course reserves and/or interlibrary loan
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and database management (Microsoft Office/Google Drive)
- Experience using ExLibris or other integrated library systems
- Manage and Oversee hiring, training, and organizing the work of full-time classified staff, part-time staff, and student employees who provide access to library services and maintain library open hours.
- Oversee compilation of statistics needed for reports, grants, and budgets, ensuring accuracy of the data; prepare reports and documentation as needed and make recommendations to the dean about departmental planning documents, including strategic planning, budget, and annual goal development.
- Respond to difficult, stressful, or sensitive interpersonal situations in ways that reduce or minimize potential conflict and maintain good working relationships among internal and external customers.
- Perform related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications - Three years of responsible supervisory and/or administrative experience in a related field OR equivalent education/experience.

- The initial appointment will include a 6-month probationary period and the employee will earn permanent status after successfully completing probation.
