Role Title: Human Resource Administrator

Role Purpose:

Maintain and update personnel records, first point of contact for HR questions, assist with management of new hire and on-boarding processes.

General oversight of office operations and provide support to other team members as needed.

Main Job Duties:

  HR Administration

  • Assist with managing new hire process, including on-boarding
  • Benefits administration (401K, health/life insurance, PTO, donation matching, etc.)
  • Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries
  • Form and maintain employee records
  • Liaise with external partners (insurance vendors, legal compliance)
  • Prepare and amend HR documents, i.e. employment contracts, handbook
  • Review and renew company policies and legal compliance
  • Assist with payroll administration
  • Support departmental training programs
  • Support & manage both on-site and off-site personnel events (lunches, company meetings, retreats, etc.)
  • Create personnel communications, including emails, flyers, etc.
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics

  Office Assistant

  • General office management
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment (printers, postage, binding, etc.)
  • Meet and greet visitors to the office
  • Support multiple departments and perform additional duties as needed
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining standard reports and workbooks
  • Basic I.T. support & troubleshooting
  • Assist with various arrangements internally, from travel to processing expenses

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws
  • At least 3-5 years experience in office management environment preferred
  • BS in Human Resources or relevant field a plus
  • Experience with Human Resource management systems a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational & people skills
  • Ability to handle confidential personnel information discreetly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable with cross-functional communication and collaboration
