Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide a positive attitude to customers and peers through providing outstanding and courteous customer service.
  • Arrive when your shift is to begin and work the assigned hours. Have the ability to work additional hours as needed, to meet CPI commitments.
  • Follow the safety guidelines and safety programs established by CPI and complete safety reports and required records.
  • Implement, promote, and support the Agronomy programs.
  • Works closely with agronomists and managers in organizing orders and fertilizer loads to keep all equipment moving in the most efficient manner.
  • Ability to navigate within CPI’s internal computer systems.
  • Ensures maps and directions are clear for applicators.
  • Works closely with agronomists and custom applicators to ensure equipment is dispatched to customers timely and efficiently.

Required Basic Qualifications

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships across the organization and work collaboratively with peers.
  • Knowledge of business computer skills (Microsoft Office and Internet software).
  • Exhibit exceptional customer relation skills.
  • Works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Ability to exert up to 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly. 
  • Ability to work in conditions exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions to include extreme heat or cold, high precarious places and loud noise levels.   

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous logistics experience is a plus.
  • A Class A CDL with endorsements is a plus.
  • Agricultural background is a plus.
