CSX CORP Market Manager- Energy Strategy Salary in the United States

Job Summary Provides marketing support across all segments of CSX’s Energy markets portfolio, including power, steel, industrial, export coal, natural gas liquids, and crude oil.  Primary functions include development and execution of strategic growth projects, market analysis and modeling, improvement of tools used by the Energy team, and cross functional efforts with Operations. Primary Activities and Responsibilities - Responsibility for deep-dive market analysis of the Energy markets both independently and in support of Marketing leaders using Excel, Tableau, and other tools  - Develop and lead broad scale Energy initiatives and work cross functionally with CSX Operations to drive sustainable, profitable long term growth for CSX - Improve tools, reports, and analytics in support of the Energy Sales and Marketing team  - Partner with the Energy Sales Team to develop marketing strategies and forecasts for key product areas within the Energy portfolio - Develop industry knowledge and expertise for product areas of responsibility through market research and monitoring of competitor activity, and by creating strategic marketing plans accordingly - Develop presentation materials for both internal communications and presentations to customers  - Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager
