JOB SUMMARY: Aid the SIO with formulation and implementation of program goals, plans, policies, and procedures. Prepare written reports of findings for submission to the HQ AFSPC SSO, HQ AFSPC/A2, HQ AFSPC IAM, and DIA as well as review new and proposed legislation and drafts of DoD, IC, and AF guidance. Provide guidance, training, and recommendations to subordinate squadron-level organizations. Develop, maintain, and conduct a continuing SCI security education, training, and awareness program. Perform SAV (BAFB only, SAFB will perform self-inspection) and implement DIA SCIF accreditation standards to ensure physical separation and TEMPEST requirements are maintained on all IAS. Incorporate risk management into managing accreditations and coordinate with HQ AFSPC SSO and DIA authorities to provide timely and accurate support. Prepare drafts, coordinate and maintain finalized co-utilization agreements and support the 460 SW FMP program (BAFB only). Manage and maintain security requirements for 1400+ SCI billets and 100% badge accountability. Assist 460 SW SSO to ensure SCIFs are properly vetted and create and maintain required documentation for facility badge access. Create and set up JWICS VTCs and ensure proper procedures are implemented for requesting SCI indoctrinations and debriefings. Review all reported derogatory information on SCI-indoctrinated personnel and ensure procedures are maintained for all equipment containing memory or information retention capability. Ensure procedures are in place for clearing, purging, declassifying and releasing system memory and media. Provide recommendations for proper classification of SCI and collateral documents. Assist in the internal configuration of IDS and ACS and recommend actions and ensures compliance with all SOPs. Assist with IA duties and update/maintain AIS baseline for all 460 SW SCIFs. 

PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES: Present at BAFB (positions 2-4) and SAFB (position 5) during duty hours, our CSSRs will assist in the management of all facets of the Customer's SCI program including physical, personnel, information, and industrial security. Our CSSRs will provide security office services ensuring personnel assigned to SCI billets meet and maintain all security clearance requirements and will also manage programs/procedures such as the Periodic Reinvestigation Program, Media Control Procedures, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and the Access Control System (ACS). Other CSSR responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 1) implementing necessary standards such as the Defense Intelligence Agency's (DIA) SCIF accreditation standards to ensure physical separation and TEMPEST requirements are maintained on all Automated Information Systems (AISs), 2) Managing personnel, visitors, and visit requests in databases used by the Intelligence Community to record eligibility and access to SCI and other caveated programs such as the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Scattered Castles and Air Force Space Command (SCIBS), and 3) Maintaining current and any future SCIF accreditations to include geographically separated SCIFs.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: At least five (5) years of experience supporting SCI-level security requirements including experience with SIPRNet, JWICS, and other SCI-level AIS. Expert with JPAS and eQIP and proven experience in physical, information, and/or personnel security management.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related security discipline highly desired. Comp TIA Security+ certification desired. Completion of JCAVS User Levels 2-6 required, including exam. Completion of "Identifying and Safeguarding PII", IF101.06, and IA 106.06
