As a Product Marketing Manager for Security you will be responsible for the external positioning of Devo’s security solutions, inbound and outbound marketing activities, and the creation of sales tools. The Product Marketing Manager will develop strategic marketing plans for the company’s security capabilities across different verticals and use-cases through market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and business planning. Working closely with the rest of the Marketing team as well as product management, you will craft the market facing messaging and lead the go-to-market execution
This is a dynamic space. The ability to break free from the tired enterprise messaging along with the ability to grasp and translate technical differentiators into benefits is crucial.
What’s Important in this role:
Messaging: Develop solution positioning and corresponding messaging that uniquely differentiates the company’s solutions versus the competition.
Sales and marketing content development – Bring your writing and analytical prowess to deliver compelling long-form and short-bite content. Quality in each piece matters – across collateral, whitepapers, presentations, videos, and blog posts.
Product launches & campaigns – Plan the market launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan. Support the demand generation team with campaign assets that deliver results.
Communications - Work with sales and marketing communications to broadcast the message to the target market, across the organization, and industry ecosystem.
Market and competitive intelligence - Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to beat them.
Industry leadership - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, speaking engagements and on social media.
Collaboration and humor – We are a start-up. Things change. Be comfortable in your ability to get things done in a fast-paced & no-ego environment.
