Dewberry Architects is a nationally recognized architectural, engineering and consulting firm with an immediate opening for an Architectural Leader with expertise as a “Seller Doer” in architecture.  Our current project focus for this position includes Higher Education, Healthcare, Public Safety and Community design.  This position requires a minimum of 12 years’ experience, including project experience within the last ten years specifically related to one or more of these project types.

Dewberry Architects’ national presence has allowed the firm to serve a wide variety of clients throughout the country. Services range from feasibility studies to construction administration. This position is located in the Tulsa, OK office, but will serve a much larger region as defined by the local office.

Responsibilities

This leadership position holds the responsibility to assist in leading the firm initiative on the capture and execution of major projects in these four project types. In conjunction with the firm’s Principals, to lead or contribute to all business development, marketing functions, and overall general guidance of the architectural practice in support of the strategic plans for the Tulsa Office. The successful candidate will interface with clients, contractors, consultants, associates and public authorities as well as participate in multiple project teams as related to their expertise to the particular project type.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree.
• Registration where Dewberry Architects pursues work and/or has the ability for reciprocity.  
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in the A/E industry including project experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Capability to work in or understanding of electronic design tools including , Sketch-Up, Revit, or similar is a plus.
