Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Community Manager to own and operate content distribution across all of our social platforms. This individual will work to further solidify our social footprint, reinforce our social identity and voice, and nurture a loyal audience who will be lifelong Digital Trend consumers.

This role is responsible for understanding Digital Trends’ core consumer on social, along with the competitive tech media landscape. The ideal Community Manager will be eager to jump in and own the responsibilities of social media management, inclusive of streamlining work processes, provide insightful reporting to key internal stakeholders, and inform Digital Trends’ content strategies.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Digital Trends’ Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other social accounts, posting content daily to our target audience
  • Maintain consistent posting cadence across all platforms to ensure efficient information flow to our core audience, scheduling and publishing content during news cycle hours
  • Work closely with the editorial team and be tuned into the tech and gadget news to further evolve the Digital Trends voice, content diversity, and point of view on the platform
  • Implement strategic tests across all platforms to better inform our editorial strategy when it comes to social media, i.e. A/B testing headlines, thumbnails, CTA, etc.
  • Actively participate in conversations taking place on our social posts and channels to foster the Digital Trends social community
  • Manage partner relationships for social sharing of our ToS and original content.
  • Test new social media content templates, formats, series, and platforms under the direction of the Sr. Director of Audience Development & User Acquisition
  • Provide weekly wrap up reports on top performing posts, bottom performing posts, what’s trending, competitive analysis (what worked, what didn’t work), and any other useful information to guide future content strategy

What We Require:

  • 1-2 years of related social media management experience (Internships and curricular activity included).
  • Proficiency in utilizing native tools within Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, etc. is a must
  • Experience managing social accounts through third party tools such as HootSuite, Dlvr.it, Buffer, etc.
  • Experience with utilizing publishing, analytics and listening tools to help content creation and engagement.
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently and keep organized during a busy, fast-paced work day
  • Understanding of digital and tech news is a must, especially in a social environment
  • Understand the logistics of how to strategically publish, engage and monitor our different social media platforms
  • College degree preferred, but not required.
