SUMMARY:
Donor Network of Arizona is seeking an emotionally strong, genuine, compassionate, intuitive and mission driven individual to medical screen patients with hospital staff, medical examiners, nurses, and organ recovery coordinators, evaluating lifesaving transplant donation suitability. This Lead Quality Control must possess a strong desire to help others and be comfortable frequently working with families over the phone at their most devastating time of loss. JOB DUTIES:

• Performs quality assurance review of donor and referral records contained in the organizational database.
• Ensures a high level of telephone customer service and accuracy by reviewing recorded conversations to include, but not limited to, referral calls, authorization for donation of anatomical gifts, medical and social history interviews, and logistical calls.
• With the assistance of the Referral and Donor Screening Services Manager, monitors the department’s performance by conducting an analysis of all RDSS department activity.
• Provides administrative support for the Referral and Donor Services Department
• Performs referral related calls and secondary screening as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of donor process.

• Excellent verbal communication and written skills
• Advanced computer literacy with a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm

• Knowledge, work, and life experience to connect with families in a meaningful way
  Bachelor's Degree or higher

Must demonstrate and draw from experiences, this is not an entry level position. Must be able to retain and recall knowledge, leverage experience and training to obtain and accurately document a vast array of medical and social history for the purposes of transplantation.
