DUPONT Accountant - Manufacturing Salary in the United States

Proactive accountant skilled in managing multiple priorities while performing routine daily and monthly accounting activities to generate timely, reliable and accurate financial information for HD MicroSystems.

Responsibilities

•  Maintain fixed assets records, including proper classification to ensure accurate depreciation expense.

•  Monitor open projects along with construction account to ensure timely capitalization.

•  Collaboration with business/plant site to ensure inventory records reflect accurate units/costs, including analysis of costs per project.  Includes investigation of inventory discrepancies and reconciliation/observation of annual physical inventory and cycle counts.

•  Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly closing cycles including journal entries, account reconciliations and consolidation of 3 entities.

•  Assist accounts receivable duties for U.S. company and intercompany accounts.

•  Assist routine bank transactions and reconciliations

•  Assist with accounts payable duties for U.S. company and intercompany accounts.

•  Review purchasing activity to ensure correct charge codes are assigned to purchase requisition.

•  Preparation of monthly sales and use tax records for submission to corporate tax department.

•  Analyze and prepare monthly account reconciliations, including appropriate support of balances.

•  Support internal and external audit engagements.

•  Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
