Job Summary

The Successful applicant will join our Plumbing Product Specialist team in supporting, designers and builders as we work through the sales process. We are a project based company and do not work with retail clients. This position will develop relationships with designer and builders both locally, nationally and in the Caribbean areas. Provide assistance as they make selections, confirm correct products items are used. Our support teams will do most of the back end work and our logistics teams handle logistics.

• Developing a sales pipeline list
• Developing and maintaining partner relationships
• Helping designers/ builders with item selection
• Oversee orders from Estimate to Sales Order.
• Manage RFI's

Note. Most of the backend sales administration is done by our support team and logistics team. 

Supervisory Responsibility

Currently their is no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc. Primarily inside in well-lighted, well-ventilated areas, but can at times be outside in external environments.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a sedentary role; however, lifting of approximately 25 pounds with occasional lifting of small objects and samples; sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and finger dexterity.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8:00 – 5:00. Additional hours may be necessary for business purposes.

Travel

Travel is primarily local, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, per insurance eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in the retail residential plumbing industry, preferred
• Extensive knowledge of product areas and lines.
• Strong Computer Skills
• Organized, responsible, enthusiastic, and timely with a strong work ethic, desired
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining the up-most standards in quality and craftsmanship a must
• Must be able to communicate with a variety of internal and external sources (i.e. employees, clients, designers, architects, etc.)
