EATON 1st Shift Forklift Driver Salary in the United States

Eaton’s Circuit Protection Division is currently seeking a Forklift Driver to join our team. This position is based at our Ellisville site and is located on 1st shift. 

This is a full-time position that offers full benefits the day you start.  In addition to Eaton’s competitive benefits, Eaton offers a salary of $15.12/hour that will increase to $19.08/hour after 6 months.

In this function you will:

• Operate powered industrial equipment in very close quarters.
• Lift up to 35lbs.
• Climb ladders.
• Use RF scanners and computers to complete inventory transactions.
• Receive and put away incoming product.
• Utilize stretch-wrap equipment, scales, etc.
• Be responsible for quality of own work and safety inspections on forklift.
• Perform waste and material management activities in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Keep work area clean and orderly. 
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Works in a team based environment to meet Bussmann business objectives.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Ellisville, MO will be considered.  Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Successful completion of electric pallet jack and forklift operator training.

Position Criteria:

• Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, and reach.
• Physically strenuous activities requiring ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis, bend or reach into awkward areas and positions.
• Basic math skills will be utilized.
