ROLE SUMMARY
Emerald is seeking Sales Representatives to join our NY NOW team in White Plains, NY. NY NOW is the largest wholesale trade show in America all under one roof, giving retailers, buying groups, interior design firms, importers, exporters, and others access to more than 2,300 leading brands in design. Held twice per year in February and August, NY NOW brings more unique, never-before seen product to retailers than any other platform. The Sales Representative will cover either the Lifestyle Collection (targeted to Wellness, Accessories & Luxury or Gift, Baby & Child) or Home Collection.
The Sales Representative partners with their respective team and Sales Manager to strategically sell exhibit space for their assigned division, including execution of all aspects of the sales campaign. The Sales Representative also sells sponsorships and advertising to their assigned customer base to generate added revenue. These positions support existing accounts as well as uncover new business and prospective exhibitors.
The best candidates for the Sales Representative role will have prior direct sales experience, or experience in a sales environment with a desire and ability to actively participate in the sales process. Candidates must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships as a team player in our collaborative environment to support overall group goals, and must be comfortable selling in a face-to-face environment in addition to over the phone. In addition, strong attention to detail, organization skills, and exceptional listening and communication skills are required to thrive in our consultative sales process.
