Empire Motorsports is hiring a Powersports Porter to join our highly qualified and dynamic team.  This position will give you the opportunity to work on fun machines including Dirt Bikes, Sport Bikes, Cruisers, ATV's, Side by Sides, Personal Watercraft, and more!

Job Description

• Uncrate and assemble new units
• Operate a forklift or payloader
• Unload shipments received by semi truck
• Pickup/Delivery of customer units with a light duty truck and trailer
• Shuttle customers to/from their home with a light duty truck
• Coordinating with customers directly to schedule pickup/delivery
• Help customers load/unload vehicles from trucks / trailers
• Retrieve and enter unit Key #, VIN, Miles, etc.
• Position queued up units in tech bays
• Assist with bringing units in and out at the end and beginning of the day
• Picking up parts from vendors around Sioux Falls
• Cleaning, organizing, general shop maintenance
• Parts washing
• Vehicle cleaning/detailing
• Assisting other departments with general tasks as needed
• Test riding vehicles
• Staff the Service/Parts desk during busy times/breaks
• Tire changes
• Oil changes
• Installing simple accessories

Requirements

• To operate any vehicle of Empire Motorsports or our customers you will need a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• To operate any motorcycle of Empire Motorsports or our customers you must have a valid motorcycle license.
• You must be 18 years or older.

Qualifications

• Must have a clear driving record
• Prior motorsports technician training is desired, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week on your feet
• Must be a team player
• Must show organizational and time management strengths

Work Environment

• Clean and organized shop that features a work bay for each technician.
• Working hours are 8:45am - 6:00pm M-F, 8:45am - 4:00pm every other Saturday with a day off during the week when a Saturday is required.  Saturday lunches are provided.
• Employees are encouraged to take a 1-hour lunch break each day.

Pay & Benefits

• Very competitive hourly rate, with overtime pay available.  Starting annual wage depends on experience and licensing
