What does a Healthcare Marketing Analyst do at companies like EVARIANT?

This position is responsible for performing analysis on the efficacy of Evariant customers’ marketing efforts, including but not limited to using data and analytics to demonstrate return on marketing investment.  This analysis requires the ability to translate qualitative requirements into quantitative analysis, captured by understanding deeply the manner in which healthcare data is collected, stored, and correlated with customer-defined service lines, diagnosis codes, and procedure codes.     

The Healthcare Marketing Analyst will work closely with Evariant customers and Evariant’s Data Integration team to translate customer requests into meaningful data insights, and will work with Customer Success and Campaign Center customer-facing employees to deliver timely and high-quality analyses.

  • Document in detail specific customer requests and confirm understanding of marketing and campaign specific reporting requirements
  • Review and support existing off platform analyses
  • Review and QA custom data pulls generated by data analysts for completeness, clarity, and alignment with ‘on platform’ reports
  • Interface with customer analysts to help identify gaps in platform data and close loop with off platform reporting
  • Create and deliver against pre-existing customer success ‘plays’ identifying opportunities for marketing at the service line or geographic level
  • Draft customer-facing presentations complete with insight gathered from Evariant’s data assets to assist in client presentations
  • Develop downstream campaign reporting in support of Evariant’s Campaign Center offerings, inclusive of appointments generated, conversions, and MROI against existing campaigns
  • Understand and reconcile differences between Evariant platform, campaign reporting, and customer data to assist in data exploration and support
  • Ability to review output from SQL queries
  • Ability to understand unique keys and how best to key information summarized at varying levels
  • Ability to understand the foundation of Marketing ROI up to and including procedure volumes, conversion rates, expense, revenue, contribution margin, attribution periods, and attribution tails.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Customer Success Executives and provide timely follow up on analysis work.
  • Produce reports that include professional-quality figures and written interpretation of findings
  • Respond to ad hoc data analysis requests from stakeholders
  • Provide or support the delivery of feedback to Evariant customers.
  • Regularly attend internal and external team meetings to update team on progress toward deliverables;
  • Collaborate with team to translate findings into quality improvement and evaluation activities;
  • Ensure completion of known deliverables in a timely and high-quality manner
  • Identify data issues and gaps and escalate to Campaign and to Delivery Leadership as appropriate

Experience, Skills and Requirements:

  • Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and advanced functions
  • SQL
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Talend or Informatica a Plus
  • Mulesoft a Plus
  • Data architecture and understanding of relational databases critical
  • Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar Marketing Automation platform) preferred
  • Client facing platform skills and consulting skills (i.e. information compiling and articulation)
