EXAMINETICS Data Processing Specialist Salary in the United States

This is an entry-level position in the Data Control & Processing Dept. Performs assigned data processing and reporting functions, including but not limited to data entry, review, correction, report processing and self-quality checks on all stages of processing.

Primary Responsibilities:

This Job Description may not include all of the duties assigned to the employee and may be updated and modified by the department supervisor, according to the operational dynamics and needs of the company.

• Track and control data pack assignment ensuring turnaround goals are met.
• Review work order and/or Operation Order instructions and comply with special processing requests.
• Enter data into the appropriate client and employee records.
• Key and/or uploads data.
• Update employee demographics as needed and specified by client.
• Proof-read own work to ensure data integrity.
• Collate and proof reports.
• Work as an integral team member in the department assisting others when necessary, in order to provide complete client satisfaction.
• Other duties as deemed necessary by Data Control and Processing management to support the department and the overall goals of the company.

Job Requirements:

• High School or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge in Windows environment.
• Excellent keyboarding skills: 8000 KSPH (data entry) and 40 WPM (typing).
• Attention to detail, customer focus, ability to multi-task, and good organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in the daily performance of the duties.
• Routine office work, occasionally required to lift or move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Must be comfortable being seated in one location for extended periods at a time.
