Summary/Objective 
Be part of an INC 5000 company in a fast paced environment to develop relationships with business owners and communicate ECG’s product offerings. As the face of the company, you will work with business owners to understand their capital needs and provide customized solutions.

Essential Functions

• Build quality relationships with new clients in over 500 various industries
• Initiate sales contact with the small business owner(s) and aggressively follow-up to present ECG’s value proposition and problem solve capital solutions
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding the merchant business funding needs and matching those needs with features, advantages, and benefits of ECG’s products and services.
• Gather documentation, facilitate funding process, and manage multiple accounts in various stages of the sales cycle
• Maintain and update lead statuses within our CRM database
• Work in a team environment and collaborate with senior underwriters during the closing process

Required Education and Experience

• 1 to 3 years of sales experience along with a track record of success and achieving goals and quotas.
• Strong relationship-building skills needed to build rapport with business owners quickly and professionally
• Analytical/problem-solving skills are essential
• Process-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
