The Compliance Manager will be responsible for collaborating with the FWF management team on daily activities as assigned. This position will report directly to the department manager and will be responsible for managing company policies, implementing an effective compliance program, and issuing regular internal audits.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program
• Develop and review company policies
• Advise the executive team on company compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports
• Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
• Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risk
• Generate reports that document errors and detail a clear resolution plan
• Assess company operations to determine compliance risk
• Develop quality assurance standards and company processes
• Ensure all FWF team members are educated on the latest regulations and processes
• Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance
• Adhere to industry quality and safety standards

Key Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management, or related field
• 3-5 years of proven experience in a compliance officer role
• Proficient knowledge and experience managing contracts
• Detailed knowledge of legal requirements and procedures
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Logistics and transportation industry experience preferred
• Organized with high attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven experience as a collaborative team player
• Reports to the department manager
