FLEX 2020 Summer Internship - Automotive Marketing Salary in the United States

Job Description

The Automotive Marketing Intern will be based in Farmington Hills, MI and will be supporting the Automotive Marketing Team. The Intern will solve complex problems and generate new ideas for a global organization, while utilizing creativity and innovation.  In addition, the student will develop tangible, professional skills through real-world experience with projects that matter to the business.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

• Work on a flexible team of professionals
• Support global and regional marketing initiatives
• Support a variety of marketing tasks, from targeted market research to communications, graphic design and more
• Provide in-person support for local events, and digital support for any others
• Identify profiles and prioritize business opportunities with potential customers
• Monitor competitive activity and identify customers’ needs
• Participate with senior management in establishing plans and strategic targets for the organization
• Interact with customers and Flex executives
• Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual reports of company and personal progress
• Demonstrate clear verbal and written English

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

• Currently enrolled, 3rd or 4th year and pursuing degree in Marketing or related field from an accredited university
• Available for 10-12 weeks during summer term (between May – September)
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
