Description

This role will be responsible for researching, defining, and launching industry leading digital advertising solutions within a coordinated portfolio of digital media and SaaS capabilities.  This role will assume leadership in leading cross-functional teams, gathering requirements, and driving progress at the center of a fast paced, highly visible strategic initiative. The role will report to the VP of Operations and Strategy and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Client Success, and Product. 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with clients, executive leadership, operations, product management, client success, and sales throughout the lifecycle of media product design and implementation
  • Work in both a strategic and tactical capacity leading the research, development, and operational implementation of digital media advertising solutions within the channels of RTB, Paid Social, Paid Search, Email, and other digital channels.
  • Support the development and communication of digital media product strategy dependent on new services/tactics to drive financial results.
  • Conduct industry research, supply partnership outreach, and supply relationship management, vendor capability analysis, and test plan design and implementation. 
  • Assist in creating a framework for determining market viability and development priorities, including competitors, key functionality, and synergies with existing product offerings and platform capabilities. 
  • Participate in defining media product business and functional requirements to inform the product release life cycle of testing, operational deployment, scalability through platform feature enhancements, and future development roadmap. 
  • Build business models that take into consideration the trade-offs associated with new product pricing, profit margin, effect on client retention, and other competitive factors
  • Work collaboratively with Operations team to define media buying test scenarios of new supply platforms to inform product cost, audience reach, and delivery requirements
  • Work collaboratively with CSM and Operations team to translate high level media buying process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation to guide product implementation
  • Provide communication support for key client stakeholders on requests and inquiries for new and existing product enhancements. 
  • Develop communication plan to effectively partner with key stakeholders and ensure timely updates on project deliverables
  • Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful launch and adoption of all new products

 

Role Requirements

  • An aptitude for strategic planning for enhancements and innovation of digital media products including technical features, content strategy, pricing, margin analysis, and operational process design. 
  • Understanding of digital media infrastructure along with a track record implementing new digital media buying processes and procedures
  • Strong technical understanding of targeting, pacing, and measurement capabilities of RTB (display,video,OTT, audio), paid search, and paid social platforms.
  • Aptitude and eagerness to quickly learn in a new environment and make an impact quickly
  • A proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals
  • Experience in gathering requirements on software tools, media products, and/or services and converting that input into business and functional requirements
  • Ability to create actionable & practical delivery roadmaps and timelines
  • Ability to manage and foster change
  • Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals and form recommendations
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and synthesize recommendations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with strategic clients, all levels of company management and team members
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  • Excellent with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong business sense and sense of urgency to achieve business results

 

Education and Experience

  • BA in Marketing, Business or quantitative field.  
  • MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing in operations, product, or sales management.
