The AR/Billing Specialist is responsible for acting as a liaison for the Company and customers. This position assists with credit memo processing, credit card authorization issues, errors, questions related to billing, refunds, order cancelation, and other AR related account inquiries.

• Maintain credit card changes on prepay accounts
• Contact customers to verify account information; work with Sales team on customer order/shipping issues
• Handle all credit card authorization issues that affect order flow
• Monitor daily credit card declined orders and resolve issues in the allotted timeframes
• Issue customer invoices and work to improve invoicing processes and procedures
• Respond to customer AR inquiries in a timely manner and resolve issues within the allotted timelines
• Assist in special AR and clerical related projects as needed
• Issue credit memos on accounts
• Issue return authorizations

Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry

• 2 years of previous experience in Customer Service or Accounting
• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree of higher preferred
• Strong customer service focus
• Basic knowledge of Accounting principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to function successfully in a high volume and fast-paced environment
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Proactive in anticipating issues and able to think outside of the box to resolve issues promptly
• Experience in processing credit card transactions preferred
• Experience working with ERP software
• Proficient in Excel
• Great attitude and be a team player

Work Environment Requirements

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and the employee will be exposed to office noises and interruptions such as printers, phones, and chatter from surrounding teams. While performing the duties of this job, employee will be regularly sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and use hands to finger, handle, lift or feel. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds without physical limitations or restrictions.
