What does an Product Success Tester do at companies like GEOCOMPLY?

We are looking for Part-time Product Success Testers to work remotely in Denver, Colorado;   Sioux City, Iowa;   and Chicago, Illinois!


The Product Success Tester contributes to the success of GeoComply by testing and reporting on the quality of our integrated software in the live environment to ensure that the products meet internal product requirements and integration specifications and external compliances. This role will also be responsible for managing client integrations and providing ongoing support, documentation to internal and external stakeholders to drive client success.


The Product Success Tester will report to the IT Optimization Manager and collaborate with Customer Success Managers, Development Team and Product Managers. The Product Success Tester continuously looks for opportunities to improve the end user experience, internal communications with clients on integration and UX, in addition to providing live data to product managers on UX and data accuracy issues, successes and vulnerabilities.

What You Will Be Doing


  • Create and maintain test cases, checklists and test suites based on the product specifications, compliance requirements and UX expectations
  • Perform manual live environment testing of products according to test cases and checklists
  • Liaise with DevOps and Integration teams to identify new launches that require pre-launch testing
  • Work with Customer Success Managers to identify a schedule of periodic testing for live clients, new releases, new rules configurations and new market testing approaches
  • Record defects found and assign priority to defects according to the QA and UX guidance
  • Work with clients to prepare and process documentation to resolve customer issues, data analytics, reporting investigations and manage the dialogue with external stakeholders
  • Provide service delivery managers with customer insights and information on customer needs and values to be taken into consideration for new features and upcoming releases
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and help others to identify opportunity for improvements by providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Understand and anticipate clients current and future needs and working them to think strategically about how our products and services can support them
  • Ensure customers are supported through sales, on-boarding and operational phases, across customers’ business and technical teams
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our company’s systems, processes and overall business requirements, the customer’s structure and use cases, and their laws/regulations and restrictions; continuously interact with colleagues, customers and regulatory bodies
  • Communicate new products, improvements and product features to customers, and discuss value for each customer; facilitate customer training after new product features are released or new products are offered; coordinate with Customer Success team members, Marketing, Operations, Service Delivery, and Product Managers to develop and deliver training
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products, processes and technologies


About You


  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of the principles of manual testing
  • Strong technical skills, comfortable with Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex documents (software requirements and design specifications, standards and regulations)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Troubleshoot live environment issues in real-time (time and cost effectively)
  • Team player
  • Ability to work under tight timelines
  • Good communication skills (intermediate level of English is required)
  • Post-secondary education or training in a relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of theory and best practices of software testing is an asset
