We are in need of a full-time experienced Retail Operations Manager for our store. This is a fast-paced, hands-on, on-your-feet job requiring lots of organization and retail skills. We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and passionate person to enhance our operations while maintaining the genuine family feels we are known for.

A successful candidate will have a background in grocery operations.

• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITHIN A GROCERY/FOOD ENVIRONMENT
• Possess great communication skills to easily and comfortably work with vendors, staff, management, and customers with professionalism and respect.
• Sets work priorities to complete work on time.Demonstrates the ability to identify problems or opportunity areas, and contributes to plans for improvement.
• Time management skills - Must be able to prioritize and be able to multi-task while maintaining efficiency and flexibility.

Tasks for which you will assume responsibility:

• Manage to receive, stock and maintenance teams
• Manage inventory
• Execute inventory accounting twice a year
• Reliability of supplier deliveries - compare shipments against purchase orders
• Ensure suppliers conform to specifications and quality standards
• Ensure proper product rotation, manage code dated products and vendor returns
• Verify product pricing accuracy and ensure product signage accurately reflects correct pricing
• Able to execute resets in all departments
• Execute and maintain store displays
• Safety and sanitation
• Maintain store cleanliness
• Special event set-up and take-down
