Technical Operations Specialist will ideally have exposure to a wide range of challenges and solutions in maintaining an online or e-commerce service environment, and will be an avid learner who is eager to build and maintain a best in class online shopping experience.
 

Our Ideal Candidate: 

• Has the ability to drive goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining strong attention to detail; 
• Self-motivated individual who possesses excellent time management and organizational skills;
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies through self-learning; 
• Is comfortable in a dynamic, fast-moving organization;
• 1+ year of E-Commerce experience (knowledge of Shopify is preferred);
• Ability to navigate a cross-functional environment;
• Strong knowledge of Google Suite products (Docs/Sheets/ Slides);
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal; and
• Works hard but likes having fun while doing so! 
   

Hardware:

• Work directly with servers and networks, performing setup, enhancement, and maintenance.
• Ensure that team members can successfully connect to networks and access business-critical data at all times.
• Configure network security settings and connect peripheral devices, like printers and scanners, that are used by multiple users.
• Provide direct support to users. 
  • Help set up hardware or software
  • Diagnose connectivity or data access problems
  • Answer questions about hardware or software
  • Help users access shared drives and devices
     

Software:

• Work cross-functionally with other departments and teams to ensure flawless execution of online content.
• Handle daily operational activities and requests from multiple departments
• Find customer insights in e-commerce data across all channels to share with other departments
• Provide detailed reporting on products, customers, order data, etc.
   

TechOps:

• Ability to understand hardware and software and all their integrations, as a consumer.
• Provide day-to-day operational support including responding to incidents, troubleshooting, and executing corrective action.
• Coordinate with other departments and teams to resolve issues with the software, applications, operating systems, and cloud services.
• Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions.
• Manage/Troubleshoot all continuous integrations to maximize efficiency.
• Continuously evaluate existing systems, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Proficiency in web programming languages including Ruby, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a HUGE plus.
• Coordinate and participate in projects to design, develop, program, test, install and maintain technical operations.
• Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information.
• Comprehensive knowledge of application programming interfaces (API’s) and how they work.
