The Business Development Specialist promotes the Greater Nevada Credit Union brand while supporting and fostering relationships with key targeted employers and community groups to achieve membership expectations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support all business development efforts listed within Greater Nevada's business development plan by coordinating opportunities to increase its presence, support, and awareness effectively.
  • Work collaboratively on business development endeavors to ensure the mutual success of all CUSOs.
  • Consistently communicate with Greater Nevada branch leaders to assist with retail lead generation and relationship-building opportunities.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of business development efforts. This includes utilizing Business Intelligence software to monitor results.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing strategies that accomplish organizational business objectives and promote our brand.
  • Develop and execute business development business plans for assigned regions.
  • Effectively present and communicate to external C-Suite stakeholders, establishing a positive relationship with their company and enabling Greater Nevada business lines to engage with their employees.
  • Monitor and appropriately allocate approved funds for key targeted employers' engagement events or community partnership endeavors.
  • Create, coordinate, and present financial education presentations to key targeted employers and their employees.

Physical Demands

 

  • While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, mouse, multiple monitors, telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
  • You may be occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
