About the Role

The Community & Customer Support Specialist will work with our Chief Experience Officer to be the online face of Happify. This person will build relationships with our members in the Happify community and help them with support issues they experience on the app and website. The Community & Customer Support Specialist is responsible for engaging followers across our social media channels and will be brainstorming ideas to engage and grow the Happify community across all platforms, as well as, supporting the marketing and content teams with other exciting projects. Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to assist the Chief Experience Officer on a number of ad-hoc projects across the organization.

This is a full time, New York City based position. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Support Happify users with any customer service questions and troubleshoot their issues 
  • Be the "face" of Happify in our community: Manage Happify and Kopa community forums and interact with members, fostering relationships daily
  • Engage with followers on Happify's social media accounts
  • Manage sweepstakes and winner outreach
  • Help build Facebook, Instagram and other advertising campaigns 
  • Assist with data entry in our Content Management System
  • Support marketing and content teams with other projects as needed

Professional Competencies

  • 1-2 years in a customer support role
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with social tools (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Polished writing and clear communication skills
  • Warm and professional demeanor 
  • A genuine desire to grow the Happify community and help our members on the platform
