Job Description Summary :

The Attribution Manager will supervise a team of junior and senior analysts, will translate his/her thought leadership into a product roadmap, and will be the Attribution Analytics primary point of contact for key strategic clients. H/she will ensure that the Attribution Team proactively identifies media optimization opportunities and presents recommendations to key stakeholders.

The Attribution Manager will actively manage the Attribution modeling platform’s technical performance and ensure output accuracy. H/she manages all phases of analyses, from articulating project requirements to delivery and follow-up of best-in-class deliverables. Is comfortable working with big data and is fascinated by consumer behavior.

Job Description :

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serves as Edge’s media analytics thought leader and portfolio evangelist, both internally and externally
  • Owns role as product manager of Edge’s suite of attribution applications
  • Identifies and develops solutions to strengthen Edge’s advanced analytics portfolio
  • Earns role with clients as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying analytic solutions, recommending best practices, exceeding client expectations and delivering best-in-industry analytic insights
  • Utilizes attribution subject matter expertise to cultivate client adoption of Edge’s attribution solutions and enhance client interpretation/usage of attribution output
  • Encourages opportunities for automation, especially regarding QC and QA
  • Troubleshoots models and provides guidance to analysts on needed research and resolution actions
  • Supervises and mentors analysts and assigns tasks to fulfill both department and individual development goals
  • Prioritizes and distributes team workload with an eye toward company objectives and operational feasibility
  • Independently manages specific analytic engagements, identifying optimal project path, including resources required and milestone targets
  • Collaborates with Data Operations, Media Operations, Software Engineering and Data Science staff to procure all inputs needed to produce analytic deliverables

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related analytical field
  • Minimum 6- 8 years of experience in an analytical discipline including hands-on experience with complex data (media, customer, big data platforms), preferably within an agency or media industry
  • Minimum 3 years managerial experience over junior and senior analysts
  • Proven management and leadership skills, with extensive experience developing analytics professionals and motivating others through vision, passion, and dedication to excellence
  • Extensive experience delegating tasks and providing constructive mentoring among team members
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills with aptitude for problem identification and resolution
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts such as probability, sampling, and statistical significance
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database concepts with ability to transform raw internal or client data into formats that facilitate analytic processing
  • Experience incorporating demographic and behavioral dimensions into analyses
  • A deep understanding of and experience in TV and/or digital media including the relationship between bought, earned and owned media
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to examine, synthesize, and present data to various stakeholders (customers and partners)
  • A successful track record of engagement with multiple customers and points of contact
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, organize, and operate in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Able to take initiative and ensure productivity in ambiguous situations
  • A proactive, strategic thinker and problem solver who uses data, analytics and storytelling skills to produce actionable insights and recommendations
  • Aptitude for creating analytic solutions and visualizations using code-based platforms such as R and Python
  • Understands the differences between descriptive and predictive analytics
  • Understands the interactions between marketing channels such as television, audio, print or digital media, with knowledge of measurement concepts such as ratings, impressions, and reach & frequency (preferred but not required)
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; can communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work across at all levels of a customer or partner organization
  • Experience communicating with client stakeholders and senior leadership on complex topics

Advanced proficiency in:

  • SSIS or SSRS
  • R, SAS, Stata, SPSS or equivalent
  • Tableau, Power BI, QlikView or equivalent
  • T-SQL or SQL - with ability to perform complex queries
  • Web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access)
