Summary:

We are currently looking for a customer focused, collaborative,and detail-oriented team member to join us and create memorable experiences for our customers. You will be the main point of contact for our customers helping them to find solutions to their ever-changing needs. You will learn how to navigate our inventory system and process customer transactions. Most of all you will be creating and cultivating relationships with customers in order to generate repeat business.

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt processing of customer transactions
• Build and maintain positive customer relations
• Discover customer needs and provide appropriate product suggestions
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Maintain inventory integrity by ensuring the effective monitoring of sales and receipt transactions reflecting accurate inventory counts, and executing proper solutions to inventory control as considered necessary.
• Ensure that the physical on-hand material count matches the computed perpetual inventory count on a daily bases including documenting process
• Prepare the branch for annual physical inventory
• Ensure the cycle count calendar is up to date and counts are performed on time
• Clean, organize and stock sales floor

Required Skills:

• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and management
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
• Understand basic inventory principles (FIFO)
• Well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities
