HYTORC HR Generalist Salary in the United States

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with other members of the HR team. The position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas but not limited to: employee relations, compensation initiatives, benefits, training and employee development, implementation of policies and procedures in accordance with the Company mission and core values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with e mployees and management to communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations;
• Participate in developing departmental objectives, processes and systems;
• Work with management on hearing and resolving employee grievances, and counseling employees and supervisors;
• Create and Maintain the Job Descriptions for all positions;
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures;
• Maintain HR publications and documents like Employee Handbook, guides, etc.;
• Facilitate and Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all Company employees;
• Assist in planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee performance;
• Collaborate and develop training plans for the small and bigger employees groups (skill-based and/or compliance);
• Maintain the Training Schedule and conduct training-associated events;
• Assist in the development of the Career Management Systems and Programs;
• Maintain HR-related records for all employees;
• Assures compliance with all laws and regulations in the respective areas of operation;
• Participate in special projects and initiatives and provide general support to HR Manager and HR Director as needed.

Education/Experience Required

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or relevant field and at least 5 years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• SHRM-CP/HRCI-PHR or higher certification preferred;
• Has an ability to quickly adapt and work in a diverse and fast-pacing environment;
• Holds strong organizational, analytical and communication skills;
• High degree of discretion and judgement in confidential matter and information;
• Hold solid aptitude in problem-solving 

Computer/Software Skills Necessary

• Previous experience with Paylocity is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software modules.

Physical Demands/Requirements 

• The HR Generalist must be able to speak, hear, see, read, write, type, dial, reach and bend.
• Occasional weight lifting up to 10-15lbs.

Work Environment

• Office environment. Periodic travel in between local offices.
