What You’ll Do

Servicing Account Manager Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• In conjunction with Processing Account Manager, responsible for account servicing needs during the policy year including binders, certificates, auto ID cards, filings, endorsements etc. Accountable for maintaining account files including Sagitta data base, core files and transactional files.  Responsible for resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues.
• Coordinates the preparation of renewal submissions including gathering information, marketing and/or delivery of submissions to underwriters and participate in strategy meetings and client account review meetings.
• Responsible for preparing the proposal of final coverages for the client and for negotiating coverage and premium issues with the company on renewal business as needed.
• Actively support the team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete a project and service an account.
• Comply with IMA workflow standards.
• Ongoing insurance education classes and designations.
• Assist in the training and growth of team members.

You Should Have:

• Two or more years of similar or related experience
• A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in‑house training or apprenticeship program.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to interpret insurance documents. 
• Familiarity with ratios, percentages, discounts and commissions. 
• Property and casualty license required for state of business. 
• Must fulfill continuing education requirements to retain license. 
• Strong computer proficiency and multitasking necessary. 
• Willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibility as the need arises.
