Product Management Intern

Redwood City, CA

We are seeking an intern to work on projects within our Mobile product team. The intern will be someone who is active on social networking platforms and familiar with avatar-based apps. The intern will help craft ideas that inspire our users and help develop shared experiences (i.e. multiuser minigames and activities) that promote the ability for people to develop and maintain friendships through avatar chat.

 Intern Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, analyze and help guide the development of experiences that drive users to chat and build/maintain friendships
• Assess and help tune existing experiences including but not limited to those based on user testing insights
• Assist with project management of outside developers
• Conduct competitive analysis related to friendship 
• Assist with interviewing and research related to platforms that incorporate friendship as part of their offering
• Work with user testing and end users to identify pain points and report back on them
• Work with QA and validate data
• Evaluate and look for actionable insights in the latest product data

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with the Google and Microsoft office suite of products
• Experience with avatar based apps
• Strong inquisitive and consultative approach and demeanor
• Ernest desire to evolve into a product management career
• Required at least a 4 month commitment
