JOB SUMMARY:
The Activities Coordinator will develop, plan, organize and direct the activities programs for In-Shape Health Club. This role will monitor the quality and effectiveness of these programs on a regular basis ensuring the programs are profitable and managed to budget.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Development and Management:
- Responsible for the development of all in-club activities programs. This includes growing, maintaining and executing current activities like Tennis, Swim and Pickleball.
- Responsible for retention of club members through listening to our members needs and presenting ideas and solutions based on their member feedback.
- Responsible for planning, scheduling and execution all marketing events.
- Responsible for maintaining and creating relationships with all current and future event program vendors and partners.
- Responsible for ensuring ample advertising is done well in advance of events through social media channels.
Responsible for managing the content on the club webpage. - Responsible for supply ordering and maintaining inventory.
- Responsible for all administration to support club activities, specifically SweatFest and other marketing events.
- Supervises kids summer programs and ensures the safety of children.
- Acts as the In-Shape local community liaison.
- Responsible for managing club event planning and party rentals (birthdays, corporate events, etc.)
Drive Business Results:
- Delivers EBITDA Results: Revenue, Controllable Costs Management (Payroll, Supplies)
- Reviews Daily KPIs and identifies trends to find opportunities to improve.
- Ensures successful execution of marketing programs at the club level to generate retention and conversion.
- Decreases unnecessary and controllable expenses. Works within established budgets and identifies areas for improved efficiencies.
Deliver the Member Experience:
- Delivers on a Welcoming, Engaging, Intuitive, and Motivating Experience
- Participates in maintaining a safe, clean, well run club
- Proactively interacts with members to gather feedback and supports club team to deliver on our member experience
- Proactively creates and promotes effective working relationships with internal and external partners
- Works alongside club team to complete tasks thru leading be example to improve our member experience
- Consistently uses key systems for scheduling, ordering, etc. (i.e. Novatime, Happy Fox, DOME, Maintenance Connection, etc.)
Operations Excellence:
- Assists with ensuring policies and regulations comply with OSHA regulations
- Understands expectations and responsibilities of all roles within the club
Modeling the In-Shape Behaviors:
- Leads and models In-Shape behaviors with their club
- Ensures club team members are modeling the In-Shape behaviors with our valued members
- Reviews club Social Media results to identify success and opportunities for improvement

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- College courses in marketing and/or project management desired
- Knowledge, experience, and understanding of Fitness industry including; racquet sports and club amenities
- Prior experience in event planning, marketing or sales, preferably within the fitness, retail, or hospitality industries
- Strong event planning and organizational skills
- CPR/AED certification required first 30 days of hire
- High regard and propensity for safety
- Ability to relocate for establishing new markets and professional growth opportunities
