INDIGO SLATE Enterprise Agile Coach Salary in the United States

At Indigo Slate we partner with several large-scale technology companies in the Pacific Northwest.  In this case, we have been working closely with an various development teams at T-mobile.  One of our clients is looking for a couple of enterprise Agile Coaches to join their team.  They are looking for a strong leader who can evangelize the team and help guide the general transition towards an agile methodology.  With that, the ideal candidate will have the requisite experience, but more importantly, be a good 'Culture fit' for this team.

Strong candidates may have experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master for an enterprise or scaled  development team delivering products and projects of relatively large size, risk, and complexity; familiarity with agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks including Lean concepts and principles.

This is a full-time opportunity with Indigo Slate with full benefits, but you will be working on-site in a 'consultative' capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to Scrum Masters on the team
• Participate in cross scrum team ceremonies
• Teach, mentor, and coach teams, Agile Delivery Leads, ARTs and Product on emerging Agile and Lean methods
• Coach the program to improve collaboration and self-organization
• Support project leadership in refining and managing the product backlog and release planning/forecasting, aligning delivery expectations with all stakeholders
• Facilitate technical discussions, decision making, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement
• Support various levels of project planning and organization
• Support implementation of new concepts, methods and processes for effective project steering and coordination based on classical and agile project management methods e.g. for tracking and reporting of timeline, deliverables, KPIs and budget
• Resolve complex questions/topics and mitigate risk by developing possible solutions and creating decision-making recommendations for the project leadership circle
• Support effective and lean internal project communication
• Teach, mentor, and coach teams, Agile Delivery Leads, ARTs and Product on emerging Agile and Lean methods
• Utilize feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and partners with others to coach the program to continuously improve

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years experience in Agile Coach, Scrum Master, and or Agile Lead Type of Position
• Deep agile expertise; you have a strong understanding of servant leadership, the Agile Manifesto's values and principles, multiple agile frameworks, and agility at scale.
• A high degree of initiative; you will readily jump in to support any team, product, portfolio, or organization.
• A high degree of flexibility; you can tailor agile practices and your facilitation style based on the context of the team and organization.
• Exceptional leadership skills; you know how to co-create a vision, reinforce it, and align teams, stakeholders, and an organization around it.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills; you find creative ways to improve teams across all levels of scale, with a focus on optimizing the overall system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; you excel at team building, one-on-one conversations, and issue resolution.
• Strong communication skills; you can clearly present complex information verbally and visually to team members, management, stakeholders, and executives.
• The ability to grow others; you know how to train, mentor, and coach individuals and teams, helping them become better agilists, team members, and leaders.
