INFOBLOX Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist Salary in the United States

Infoblox is looking for an Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist to join our rapidly growing Finance team in Tacoma WA. A successful candidate will be a capable and responsible accounting professional with the desire to expand their career into the high-tech industry. They will not only address customer inquiries, ensure appropriate invoicing/credits applications, but also assist with managing collections and helping to grow the team’s overall knowledge. This role has the capability to offer great career development opportunities within the Finance and Accounting function.

The Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist will be based in Tacoma, WA and report to the Manager, Accounting Operations who is located in Melbourne, AU.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cash application and AR close tasks
• Conduct daily collection emails and/or calls
• Generate and provide statements to customers
• Monitor A/R alias email inbox and respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Reconcile cash receipts to open invoicesPerform customer account reconciliations and proactively manage the past due account situations
• Collaborate with sales and service management team to accelerate the collection process, if necessary
• Process credit memos and debit memos to ensure the aging report are accurate
• Assist with establish credit limits using financials, D&B and references
• Participate in special projects as requested

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of account receivable and/or collections experience
• A Bachelor of Commerce (Business/Finance)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skill
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven professional environment
• Results oriented with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to perform accurately yet efficiently under time pressured situations
• Proficient in MS excel
• Able to supervise junior staff
• Experience with large ERP systems a strong plus (preferably Oracle 11i and/or Fusion)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
