What does a Business Development Alliances Manager do at companies like INFOBLOX?

Infoblox is currently looking for a Business Development Alliances Manager. In this new role, you will lead our Alliance Program efforts and manage the program across our Cloud, Networking, and Security portfolios.  You will also have responsibility for overall program management for our refreshed Alliances Program.

The Alliance team is responsible for developing and executing high value, high impact strategic partnerships with public cloud providers, and building a strong Alliance’s Partner Program. The ideal candidate has experience in business development, alliance management, and cloud technologies.

We are looking for a self-motivated leader who is highly collaborative and organized and has a track record of running successful alliance programs that accelerate growth and partner engagement in an ecosystem.


Responsibilities:

● Alliance Partnership Program

  • Build and drive Alliance partner projects and programs to deliver on team goals and executive guidance
  • Manage and drive overall strategic alignment, co-development, and go-to-market strategy for high priority partners
  • Build programmatic ways of partnering, from continuous testing to self-serve GTM kits
  • Update cross-functional program requirements with sales teams, support organizations, engineering, etc.
  • Communicate program updates internally and externally
  • Coordinating partner evaluations to determine continued relevancy
  • Create standardized program deliverables
● Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain full ownership of the work and work successfully with a high degree of autonomy and drive
  • Work collaboratively with other key stakeholders of the company
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver business results
  • Demonstrate a high level of maturity and sensitivity in handling company confidential information

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in Business Development, Partner Programs, Program Management or other relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of the work needed to develop and manage relationships, including partnering and alliances
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all organizational levels and across all functions. Must be clear, concise, and collaborative
  • Demonstrated ability to drive programs within an organization, comprised of internal and external impacts, in a straightforward, efficient, and productive manner
  • Proven experience in navigating the complexities of technology alliances
  • Ability to understand alliance partner contributions to achieve company objectives
  • Proven ability to independently draft and present project deliverables, recommendations, and communications strategies
  • Experience supporting executive-level communications in a rapid-paced environment
  • Exceptional critical thinking abilities – strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and large teams of experts
  • Knowledge of security, networking, and Cloud industries
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Education:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
