JOB TITLE:

Manager, Client Success

Investment Metrics, the leading provider of investment performance analytics and reporting solutions for the institutional investment community, is looking for a Manager, Client Success, to join their expanding Client Success team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

In this role, you will manage the Client Success team located in Norwalk, CT, Conshohocken, PA and Chicago, IL with a focus on customer satisfaction from initial onboarding to renewal and upsell.

In addition to leading the Client Success Team, we expect you will be able to build and maintain excellent relationships with C-level and senior managers from our key customers, understanding their priorities and desired business outcomes. Ensuring our customers have the very best Investment Metrics experience includes issue resolution management, governing QBRs and cross-selling/up-selling relevant products and services.

 We have some big aspirations so we expect a focus on customer retention, revenue growth and on transitioning our customers to a new technology platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be responsible for delivering revenue and customer retention targets for your team’s portfolio. You will be expected to build and maintain core relationships with key Investment Metrics customer stakeholders, ensuring internal and customer outcomes are reached. You will work side-by-side with our CSMs, Product Management and Development teams to retain a strong service offering and deliver the best Investment Metrics experience possible.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Client Success team function, meeting KPIs and customer satisfaction targets
  • Managing the CSM individual team member performance, well-being and career development
  • Understanding client opportunities and challenges (up/cross-sales, and issue management)
  • Being the voice of the customer internally, including providing customer priorities to the Product team (issues and enhancements)
  • Personal and team development to improve team performance to enable us to scale more effectively (best practice sharing)

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years solid experience in Client Service Management / Customer Success Team Delivery and Leadership
  • 5+ years in the Financial Services industry
  • Track record of managing teams of CSMs of around 10+, dealing with people, career, resource and skills management
  • Experience of managing multiple programs of deployment and operational processes including issue/escalation management and service improvement planning
  • A strong solutions focus, with emphasis on helping customers meet business outcomes
  • The ability to present complex information concisely with sound reasoning and strong attention to detail
  • Being the voice of the customer internally, including experience of partnering with Product teams
  • First-class negotiation skills
  • Evidence of good data analytical skills
  • Proven ability to create and share Sales and Service process Best Practice
  • Experience working in SaaS, managed services or similar industries preferred
  • Experience developing and presenting world-class presentations/QBR's
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines
