We are an established ecommerce business looking for the right candidate to join our experienced marketing team. The Web Marketing Assistant works closely with the marketing director on a wide range of projects and tasks. This role features an emphasis on SEO, copywriting, paid search, and merchandising. Areas of work will include:
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing paid search efforts, including keyword, display, shopping, retargeting, and video advertising
Monitor performance with various analytics tools, making changes as needed to ensure advertising consistently meets performance requirements
Maintain and optimize product shopping feed files for paid search
Use various tools to benchmark and monitor natural search visibility for multiple web properties
Create and optimize content for maximum search engine visibility, while maintaining brand standards and appropriate tone
Periodic audits to identify and execute off-page optimization opportunities, including link building, internal linking, and technical SEO improvements
Support merchandising efforts through sales analysis on top products and categories
Use website analytics and other tools to optimize landing pages and cross-merchandize
Qualifications:
4 year BA/BS strongly preferred
Strong understanding of SEO and Paid Search best practices
Google Analytics experience
Previous search marketing experience required.
Basic HTML skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel required
SQL and other database experience a plus
Project management software experience a plus
Paid social media advertising experience a plus
Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
