JOYBIRD Data Entry Specialist Salary in the United States

The Data Entry Specialist is a critical part of the eCommerce team. This team is responsible for proper classification, tagging, and maintaining of all online creative assets and accurate data on the product pages. They will work collaboratively with team members in different functions across the organization and will need to embrace building strong relationships with others. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn about the business and contributing to Joybird’s success. Specific job-related training will be provided. Job Responsibilities 

• Makes changes to Joybird systems and updates seasonal product launches under the direction of the eCommerce Manager.  Changes include updating the following; product information, image galleries, landing pages, and merchandise presentation. 
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output 
• Responsible to proof and build the product display pages. Includes management of skus, database hierarchy, data relationships, record maintenance, product copy, QA of assets and other product attributes.
• Manage page and category level presentation of product: copy, image galleries, keyword terms and merchandising and marketing messaging.
• Responsible for site QA on merchandise, category and product pages. Includes use of collection galleries, order of product within galleries, alt views, copy to ensure relevance and accuracy of product information. 
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
• Accurately enter data and tag assets into various platforms.
• Create, populate and maintain accuracy of spreadsheets.
• Identifies, captures in proprietary system and tags user-generated content. 
• Accountable for the accuracy of sellable inventory online. Must also partner with Merchandising teams to ensure online availability of merchandise. 
• Work closely with IT, customer service, planning and merchandising to resolve customer-facing issues quickly.

Technical Expertise:

• Experience with web merchandising metrics and analytics tools.
• 2 + years proven experience as data entry clerk
• Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred 
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (Google Docs, Google Sheet, Excel etc.)
• Basic understanding of databases
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously fast and efficiently
