The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse inventory, directing and managing all warehouse staff and assisting the Operations Manager in the daily operations.  This person will ensure the warehouse staff works safely and efficiently to accomplish branch daily goals.

 Other duties include:

  • Lead, manage & hold warehouse staff accountable by setting the daily priorities, establishing task lists and delegating to staff in a clear and concise manner regarding how to achieve the set objectives.
  • Create repair work orders in equipment tracking system and document maintenance performed on all equipment that is serviced.
  • Assist field crews with troubleshooting equipment problems.  Plan, track & schedule preventative maintenance on all company equipment & vehicles.
  • Coordinate incoming freight to maximize the usage of available labor/equipment, reduce the loading time frame, and reduce congestion.
  • Responsible for the training and continued education of all warehouse staff on safety, product data, equipment and facilities. Know, teach and enforce product specific use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if and when hazardous chemicals are present.
  • Hours: 10AM - 7PM, Monday - Friday

Required skills, experience and talents:

  • 2+ year of warehouse, construction, distribution or related experience preferred but not required.
  • Prior supervisory experience a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a clean driving record.  Ability to obtain Class B CDL within 90 days of employment.
