Overview:  This position will be involved with all aspects of the beverage manufacturing and distribution business – including inventory, pricing, regulatory compliance, and operating systems. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage the business processes surrounding inventory (e.g., bill of ladings, vendor invoices, reconciliations, and the perpetual inventory system) to ensure accuracy
• Monitor pricing, promotional activities, and monthly bill backs to ensure profitability
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and implement procedures as necessary
• Manage the FDA Food Safety Program (including preventive controls, HACCP, vendor validation, lot number traceability, recall plan, etc.)
• Oversee the TABC monthly reporting activities
• Manage the configurations of the inventory/sales/delivery route operations systems
• Coordinate the Year-End physical inventory count with the external auditors
• Manage the beverage manufacturing business processes (e.g., procurement of raw ingredients, assembly batch records, ingredient traceability, etc.)
• Monitor performance metrics, evaluate variances, and investigate issues
• Perform other duties as necessary to ensure efficient business processes

Qualifications

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• 8 or more years work experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or beverage industry
• Bachelors level degree in business management, operations, accounting, or related areas preferred but not required if equivalent work experience
• Experience with regulatory agencies (e.g., FDA, health department, TABC, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, time management, and communication skills
• Experience with managing people and processes in a fast-past environment
• Microsoft office skills (primarily Excel spreadsheet)
