KRS HOLDINGS Compliance Specialist/Paralegal - Property Management Salary in the United States

KRS Holdings, a regional property management company based in Richmond VA, is seeking a Compliance Specialist to enforce lease compliance. This fast-paced job requires mastery of the Microsoft Office suite of programs (especially Excel), outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple business-critical processes simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues is also essential to succeed in this role.

Primary duties include but are not limited to:
• Issuing non-compliance letters
• Issuing abandonment letters
• Managing the collections process for outstanding tenant balances ("pay or quit" notices, unlawful detainers, writs of possession, managing the eviction schedule, etc.)
• Managing the annual lease renewal process, including following up to verify that increases are being paid by those tenants that renew
• Auditing move-in files to verify correct underwriting, documentation and funds

Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in this area
• Paralegal certification strongly preferred
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple critical processes simultaneously with low error rate
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
