JOB DUTIES:
Under the direct supervision of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, this individual will manage all student academic records. This individual will also directly supervise the Administrative Assistant to the Registrar's Office. The Registrar is responsible for the management of the departmental budget.
Duties will include, but not be limited to: course registration, transfer evaluation, degree audits, class scheduling, determination of academic credit, degree certification, graduation functions, and processing transcripts.
The Registrar must be familiar with and proficient in the policies and procedures of the College. He or she will review and evaluate graduation applications and manage ordering and printing of diplomas. The Registrar serves as ex-officio member of the Academic Policies Committee and the Advising Board of the Academic Services Committee.
The individual will work alongside administrators, department chairs, faculty members, and IT.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred, in a related field and significant experience in student record-keeping or the equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by Human Resources.
