Requirements:
The Help Desk Support Analyst I is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of workstation hardware and software and related infrastructure, along with running small workstation administration projects.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
  • Provides in-house expertise and desktop technical support to end-users.
  • Installs, maintains and supports company's desktop, laptop, thin client, tablet, telephone, copier/printer, and other workstation devices.
  • Supports remote employee workstation devices.
  • Investigates and troubleshoots issues and escalates as needed.
  • Performs medium complexity workstation software/hardware troubleshooting, patches, and re-installations in accordance to established SLAs.
  • Maintains operational, configuration, or other procedure documentation.
  • Contributes to and maintains system standards.
  • Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

Skills/Knowledge: 

  • Must be able to maintain customer confidentiality.
  • People skills are a must, frequent communication, both face to face and in writing is required.
  • Strong problem solving / troubleshooting skills.

Education/Experience:

  • 2+ years technical support experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications a plus
