Responsibilities

The DTC Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting monthly forecast and close process as well as business analytics for the Ecommerce, Retail and Outlet businesses. He/she will develop and maintain effective relationships with brand/corporate finance team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Support the Monthly Close/Forecast process; evaluate financial performances by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts while providing commentary on variances
• Maintain daily, monthly and quarterly reporting to inform business partners on financial performance
• Create and prepare DTC financial presentations with commentary
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Perform sales and gross margin trend analysis for distribution channels
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and excel dashboards
• Collaborate with management on various projects to drive company strategy
• Partner with Company Planning on sales forecasts and KPI scenario analysis for promotional decision making
• Routine communication with Manager relating to financial close, forecast, development and deliverables

Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related function
• At least 1-3 years knowledge financial or sales planning experience
• Experience working in a retail environment preferred
• Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in NetSuite, Qlikview and Access are a plus
• Ability to synthesize large data sets
• Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
• Detail Oriented
• Strong personal skills, ability to build trust, confidence and exceptional working relationships
