We are seeking a Business Finance Manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills to serve as the primary financial steward in our company.  The Business Finance Manager operates with independence and is expected to complete the objectives of broad assignments with minimal supervision and oversight.  The Business Finance Manager will oversee the financial daily operations and accounting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in addition to supporting the reporting, budgeting, and forecasting process for the company.

Business Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
• Cash forecasting & management
• Day to day accounting in Quick Books
• Payroll processing
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
• Forecasting / Annual budget preparation
• Tax preparation support, working with our CPA firm to supply information and data
• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
• Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
• Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements (GAAP)
• Liaison with Insperity our HR Solutions, payroll, and benefits firm
• Onboarding / Offboarding including background checks, new hire documents, severance.

·       Liaison for Employee counseling / Performance Improvement Plans / Management counseling documentation

·       Liaison for various HR Annual reporting

• Employee file maintenance
• I-9 maintenance
• Employment verifications 
• Physical office management and coordination
   

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus
• 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools 
• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
